Spa Review – Quann Spa JW Marriott Pune, India
I am a Spa freak and you must have seen our hotel videos where I always ensure that the Spa is covered properly. Well this was one of the best experiences and hence starting Spa reviews on the blog and channel as well.
Location
The Quann Spa is located inside the JW Marriott Pune Hotel located in the heart of the city. While I have been to multiple Spa’s across 5 Star properties in India, the opulence here will still leave you stunned. Despite being in the middle of the city, there was absolutely no noise or disturbance. It was an oasis of calm and full credit to the people here to achieve such a feat given that the hotel is extremely busy especially during weekends.
Treatments
The Spa offers a variety of luxury bath and body therapies, Ayurvedic treatments and facials. They use products from Thalgo which is a famous french brand. I was greeted by the Spa Manager Mr. Tongpang and he gave me the Spa Menu. After glancing through the menu, I decided to go for revitalizing eye treatment.
Facilities
I was escorted to the waiting room and was offered a refreshing drink and cold towel . The ambiance of the Spa and its surroundings was so pleasing.
Rooms
After, the drink and settling down, my therapist escorted me to the Spa room.
Lights, music, temperature, cleanliness and aroma was just impeccable.My therapist gave me disposable clothes and a robe to change and cupboard to keep clothes and valuables.
The experience
While it is really difficult to explain a treatment, suffice it to say that it was truly relaxing. I never realised how time went by. After applying the mask my therapist also gave me a nice foot massage.
It was a 30 minutes treatment and once it was over my therapist asked my if I would like to have some herbal tea. I am a tea lover and jumped at the opportunity. She gave me 4 options to choose from and escorted me back to the relaxing room & got me hot herbal tea with honey.
Then, I went back to the reception area to settle the payment and then they offered me a goodie bag from Thalgo. I really like Thalgo’s products and got some more to try on.
Bottom Line
This is an amazing Spa set up by JW Marriott. Would definitely recommend this to all Spa lovers. Give it a try!
