Deal Alert – Qatar Airways Business Class India to USA round trip for INR 150,000 pp (~ $ 2,150)
Qatar Airways is currently offering great promotional business class fares from multiple Indian cities to East Coast USA for around INR 150,000 (approximately USD 2,150) per person round trip. These are exceptional fares and are not expected to last very long. Here are the details of the ongoing promotion
- Flights need to be booked by 13 March 2019
- Wide range of travel dates upto December 2019
- Ability to take advantage of stopover in Doha (More on this below)
While Qatar flies to quite a few Indian cities, the best deals on offer were from Chennai. For example a Chennai to Miami round trip in Business Class in the month of June is just a shade under INR 150,000. Flight availability is plenty as long as your plans are flexible.
Flights from Mumbai were costlier by around INR 10,000 but the same is to be expected given the abundance of business travellers on routes like Mumbai Boston. However, these fares are still great with the next closest fares around INR 50,000 higher. You need to have a layover of over 12 hours and you can score a stay in a 4 Star Hotel for USD 23 (INR 1,600) or 5 Star Hotel for USD 28 (INR 2,000) for one night. This gives you a much needed break and a chance to explore the city. To do this you simply need to
- Use a multi city option like Delhi – Doha ; Doha – Chicago ; Chicago – Delhi
- Ensure that transit time is over 12 hours

- Choose between 4 & 5 Star for USD 23 & USD 28 for 1 night respectively. You can increase the nights but then its more expensive.
Fares below INR 200,000 per person round trip in Business Class to the US are generally rare and they are definitely worth considering when offered by the Middle Eastern Carriers which have great business class offerings. On top of that Qatar Airways QSuites is probably the best business class product in the Sky and you could easily get a chance to fly QSuites if you plan well. The Promotional fares are mainly to 5 destinations in the US (Atlanta / Boston / Dallas / Miami / Chicago)
